Marino Alumni Links Programme
This is a new initiative to link Coláiste Mhuire, Marino Institute of Education (MIE) with its graduates throughout the world. The programme will forge strong links with graduates through the maintenance of up-to-date contact information, the creation of web-based and electronic communications channels and collaboration on a number of priority programmes. It is hoped that Marino Alumni Links will lead to the development of courses and projects to support graduates in their professional capacity. Through the programme, past pupils will be invited to influence and participate in the further development of Marino Institute of Education.
Marino Alumni Links: Programme 2009
The following activities were carried out in 2009:
• Creation of a comprehensive database
• Identification of dedicated staff members for alumni contact
• Creation of web-based, electronic and online communications and connections
• Distribution of a comprehensive survey
• Establishment of an Alumni Links Advisory Group
Marino Alumni Links: Programme 2010
The following activities will be carried out in 2010:
• Development of tailored courses and projects in response to Alumni Survey 2009
• Hosting of First Annual Reunion for 25-year and over alumni classes
• Launch of the Marino Curriculum Awards Programme
