St Mary’s
St Mary’s is the main building and focus point on the MIE campus. Its construction commenced in 1900 by the Christian Brothers. Today the building has many uses. It houses Colaiste Mhuire classrooms, labs and academic offices and the main reception for people attending functions or external conferences at MIE. It also houses conferencing offices and visitors' overnight accommodation, the main Student Services area and MIE's administration hub. St Mary’s also has our beautiful Chapel, the chapel of the Sacred Heart.
Nagle Rice Hall

Nagle Rice Hall, opened in November 2006, is a sports and education building, with a full size gym, 150 seat lecture theatre, 4 classrooms and the main restaurant for the campus.
The Student Apartments
This large, modern student apartment complex, named 'Westcourt', was built by Pierce Construction and is currently fully managed and serviced by them. Westcourt has accommodation for 302 students in individual en-suite bedrooms, configured as 3 and 4-bedroomed apartments, each with a shared kitchen and living area.
St Joseph’s – The Community Residence
This large house, opened in 2006, is the official residence for the on-campus Christian Brother Community.
St Patrick’s
Many Department of Education and Science and other initiatives based at Marino operate from St.Patrick's Hall. These include An Scrúdú le hAghaidh Cáilíochta sa Ghaeilge, Social Personal and Health Education (Post Primary), School Development Planning Initiative (Post Primary), Post Primary Languages Initiative, Refund of Fees Scheme, Marino-Iona Programme and Age and Opportunity. St. Patrick's Hall, built in 1930, is also home to the extensive library and a dedicated Music Education space.
The building also has offices and administration for many areas and initiatives here on MIE.
