Tutor system
Each student is assigned a tutor at time of registration. The tutor is available to provide academic information, assistance and support.
Chaplaincy
The chaplaincy team is an integral part of life of MIE. It realises its ministry through providing pastoral care in areas of personal support with college life, bereavement, and illness. It also invites the community to celebrate significant moments in the life of the college, creating a space for prayer, reflection, transformation and personal formation.

The Student Health Service and the Student Counselling Service are confidential services available free of charge.

Student Assistance Fund
A Fund is established under the National Development Plan and European Social Fund. It provides financial support to students experiencing particular financial difficulties, to enable them to fully benefit from their third-level studies. Details and Application Forms are available to registered students from the co-ordinator of the Fund.
