Refund of Fees Scheme

REFUND OF FEES SCHEME 2009

Applications are now invited for the Refund of Fees Scheme  for teachers who have successfully undertaken a course during the period 1/9/08 – 31/8/09.
 
The closing date for receipt of applications is Wednesday, 31st March 2010. Late applications will not be accepted.


Courses which qualify should be of benefit to schools, school management and the improvement of teaching and learning. Courses must lead to an award from an appropriate accreditation authority approved by D.E.S. Please note that this scheme excludes courses which result in a qualification in respect of which an allowance is payable. Serving teachers who are fully registered with The Teaching Council are eligible to apply under the scheme.

 

The Marino Institute of Education administers the scheme on behalf of the Department. A Monitoring Committee consisting of representatives from teachers unions, school management and D.E.S. oversees the administration process.
