REFUND OF FEES SCHEME 2012/13
The Teacher Fee Refund Scheme 2012/13 is now complete. Payments issued to successful applicants during the week ended 19 September, with each successful applicant receiving a 28% refund of eligible fees paid.
Application forms for the Refund of Fees Scheme 2013/14 are not yet available as we are awaiting formal approval from The Department of Education and Skills. Please keep checking this site for further information. We aim to have the 27th March 2015 as the closing date for receipt of completed applications if the scheme is approved.

1. Refund of Fees Circular, 2013
Courses which qualify should be of benefit to schools, school management and the improvement of teaching and learning. Courses must lead to an award from an appropriate accreditation authority approved by D.E.S. Please note that this scheme excludes courses which result in a qualification in respect of which an allowance is payable. Serving teachers who are fully registered with The Teaching Council are eligible to apply under the scheme.
The Marino Institute of Education administers the scheme on behalf of the Department. A Monitoring Committee consisting of representatives from teachers unions, school management and D.E.S. oversees the administration process.
