- Cooperative learning, integration and ‘theory-to-practice’ in the context of Initial Teacher Education, and in particular within the ‘foundation studies’.
- Holistic and relational approaches to education, in the context of the move towards a standardised and marketised conception of education in Ireland.
- Educational transition (pre-school to primary and primary to secondary).
- Parental involvement in children’s education with a focus on diversity and social justice.
- Early childhood education.
