We look to Jesus in His time and place
Can we do the same in our time and place?
He brought healing to the needy
He prayed from the heart
He included all at table
He exploded the myth that His world was as the Lord would want it
So we seek out the needy for healing
We pray from the heart
Inclusion is our song
We become a parable
And just as He embodied the Lord
So we seek to embody Him
And we remember His manifesto
For it’s all in the Good News
And it’s always good news
To open eyes
To release captives
To free the oppressed
To be good news for the poor
And not in a big way but in the smallness
Of the moment
Of being for others
Of a life unselfish
Mindfully
