MIE to lead three-year Erasmus+ funded European project on Inclusive Education:  ‘Empowering Inclusive Teachers for Today and Tomorrow’ (EiTTT)

Dr Anne Ryan, Senior Lecturer in Education at MIE, is leading a six-partner project aimed at advancing Inclusive Education in Europe’s schools.  Following a competitive process, funding for the project was awarded with a grant of €187,820 under the Erasmus+ KA2 Education Programme of the European Commission.  The Erasmus+ KA2 Programme encourages organisations across Europe to cooperate in forming strategic partnerships for the purposes of innovation and the exchange of good practices.

The project team comprising teacher educators and teachers from Ireland, Finland, Latvia, Belgium and Cyprus, is pictured at the launch of the project during a two-day meeting in MIE on October 3rd and 4th 2016.
