Beathaisnéis/Biography:
Damien has worked as a mainstream, multi-grade and learning-support teacher since qualifying as a primary school teacher. He has also served as a teaching principal in south Dublin, and most recently as an administrative principal of a large DEIS band one school in Dublin 22. Reflecting his research interests, Damien has carried out curriculum-related research on behalf of the National Council for Curriculum and Assessment (accessible here), and has also assisted various textbook publishers in their editorial processes. He has also delivered face-to-face and online professional development to in-service teachers, and most recently has designed online mathematics modules for the INTO summer course programme.
