Student Teacher Educational Research (STER) is an Irish Higher Education project that supports education students to share their dissertation research in ways that are accessible to students and education professionals. While research has become an integral part of initial teacher education, and other education programmes in Ireland, student research findings are rarely shared. STER promotes a culture of research in education by providing students at different stages of the research journey with the opportunity to engage in dialogue, critical reflection and dissemination. The project is run annually by Dr Aimie Brennan in partnership with a team of student volunteers.
