Local Accommodation Options

A selection of accommodation options are outlined below. These include student accommodation available on-site at Marino Institute of Education, as well as nearby hotels. A reduced rate is available for some of the hotels. Delegates must use the appropriate booking code when booking to avail of the reduced rate. Bookings should be made directly with the accommodation provider or through the links provided.

Marino Institute of Education on-site accommodation

Up to 100 student rooms are available for conference delegates to book for the duration of their stay in Dublin. These rooms are offered at a very competitive price of €60 per night. Delegates must book a minimum of four nights to secure this accommodation. These rooms are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. To view this accommodation, please see here. This accommodation is self-catering. However, breakfast is available for purchase onsite in the Blasta restaurant. Additionally, a selection of drinks and pastries are available in the Cloisters Café.

Clontarf Castle

Built in 1172, the spectacular Clontarf Castle will host the conference dinner for delegates on Thursday the 28th of August. Now a 4-star hotel tucked away in suburban Dublin, it has maintained the magnificent splendour of the original Clontarf Castle whilst offering guests the comforts of a luxury 4-star deluxe hotel. The Clontarf Castle Hotel is just under 4km away from Marino Institute of Education and 10km from Dublin airport. It is around a 10-minute drive, 12-minute cycle, 30 minutes on public transport or a 45-minute walk.

Clontarf Castle Hotel has offered bed and breakfast at a reduced rate for conference delegates. A booking code must be used to avail of the reduced rate. Please contact [email protected] for this code. Bookings should be made here.

This code will be available for guests to book until the 12th May 2025. Reservations may be cancelled up to 3 weeks prior to arrival without charge. Cancellations made within 3 weeks prior to arrival will be charged for the amount of the first night's rate. Early departure will be charged for the full length of stay. Failing to call or show before check-out time after the first night of a reservation will result in cancellation of the remainder of the reservation.

Dublin Skylon Hotel

Located less than 2km from Marino Institute of Education is the Dublin Skylon Hotel. The hotel offers proximity to Dublin Airport, Dublin City Centre & a 10–15-minute walking distance to Croke Park, National Botanic Garden & Glasnevin Cemetery. Payment:

Full payment will have to be processed at the time of booking. Payment can be made by credit/debit card via the Skylon’s Online Terminal or via Bank Transfer.

Payments made will be fully refundable in accordance with our cancellation policy below.

Individual cancellation policy

Our individual cancellation policy is 7 days prior to arrival.

Late cancellations made within 7 days or less of arrival will incur a cancellation fee equivalent with the rate for the first night.

Bonnington Dublin

The Bonnington Dublin Hotel & Leisure Centre is a four-star hotel located 3km north of Dublin City Centre. The hotel has 200 en-suite bedrooms, a leisure centre and a number of dining options McGettigan’s Pub, the Croft Bar, Casa Della Pizza and the Tea Rooms. The hotel is conveniently located on the main route to Dublin’s International Airport (6km) and is less than 2km from Marino Institute of Education.
