  • The Professional Development Service for Teachers is the country’s largest single support service offering professional learning opportunities to teachers and school leaders in a range of pedagogical, curricular and educational areas - visit www.pdst.ie
  • www.jct.ie offers a range of CPD supports to teachers of the Junior Cycle - this is a very useful resource!
  • The National Council for Curriculum and Assessment (NCCA) is a statutory body of the Department of Education and Skills, advising the Department on curriculum and assessment - visit them at www.ncca.ie
  • Developed by the NCCA, www.curriculumonline.ie provides a range of useful supports and interesting ideas to help teachers explore the curriculum
  • www.education.ie is the official website of the Department of Education and Skills and well work exploring
  • Information on teacher unions can be found on each of three websites www.into.ie for Primary, www.asti.ie for Post-Primary/Secondary and www.tui.ie for Post-Primary, Higher and Further Education.
  • There are 21 full-time and 9 part-time Education Centres in Ireland, providing teachers with a range of supports, courses and resources. For information on where to find your local Education Centre go to www.esci.ie for a full listing
