MIE Community, Culture and Sports Awards 2026

On Wednesday 20 May, we celebrated the achievements of  undergraduate students at the MIE Community, Culture and Sports Awards.
The awards recognise students who have made an impact beyond academic achievement, in sport, community and culture. From representing Ireland and MIE in international competitions, to volunteering, cultural leadership, and supporting peers, this year's recipients demonstrated drive and spirit, which highlights our unique community.
Staff nominated students across all undergraduate programmes, and each winner was presented with their award by President Professor Teresa O'Doherty.
A special word of thanks to the staff who nominated, to Richard Gavin for capturing the evening, and to everyone who attended.
Comhghairdeas mór. Táimid fíorbhródúil as bhur n-éachtaí agus bhur dtiomantas
