Visa and Immigration

The most up to date information regarding visa requirements is available on the Irish Immigration website. Students should make themselves familiar with all the information on this website. Please see the summary below.

Students who hold an EU passport do not require a visa to study and work in Ireland. Some, but not all, non-EU/EEA students require an entry visa for Ireland. For example, students coming from the United States or Canada do not require a visa to enter Ireland.

Non-EU students who do not require a visa will still be required to register with Immigration Service Delivery (ISD) after arrival.
