MIE Careers Service

Welcome to the Marino institute of Education Careers Service. Our aim is to support, guide and empower MIE students to develop the skills, competencies, attitudes and self-belief to engage successfully with the world of work and to make informed career decisions. The Careers Service works alongside academic staff to encourage students to become confident and competent learners and ultimately take charge of their own professional development.

We provide Careers information, education and guidance to students in a number of ways to enable them to realise their potential and the opportunities available to them as they progress through MIE.

Current students can access careers information and relevant links to useful careers websites in the Careers Service section of Moodle .

Planning your future career and navigating the options available to you can feel overwhelming. The MIE Career Service is available to help. If you would like to meet with a Careers Advisor for a more in-depth discussion to help you with career planning and choices, we offer a one-to-one consultations. This is a confidential, impartial and non-directive meeting. All MIE students can avail of this service. Book a Careers appointment

  • Highlighting  your skills and identifying any gaps
