Digs/Lodgings
'Digs' is an informal term for lodgings in Ireland.
Please contact MIE directly for a list of host families who have rooms (and in some cases full board) available to students.
Digs are traditionally a little cheaper than private rented accommodation. Digs generally cost between €100-€150 per week and vary in what they include (many include bills, meals, laundry, etc.)
Make sure to clarify what the cost includes before signing up for lodgings.
