Biography

Laoise Sutton is an EAP lecturer with Marino Institute of Education. Previously, she has taught Spanish in both MU and TCD as well as teaching English as a foreign language internationally. Apart from teaching, she has worked in IT, in Irish Cultural Heritage, as a translator and as a conference coordinator. Interests include translation, second language acquisition, learner autonomy, borderland studies and comparative linguistics.
