MIE Community, Culture, and Sports Awards 2024

Marino Institute of Education proudly hosted our Community, Culture, and Sports Awards on Tuesday, 21 May.

These three foundational pillars were chosen to align with our commitment to recognising and celebrating excellence that extends beyond the confines of traditional academic achievement. Aligned with MIE's dedication to fostering holistic development, these awards are a meaningful extension of our existing first-year undergraduate scholarships, ensuring that outstanding students receive ongoing recognition for their exceptional achievements here.

Regarding the selection criteria for award recipients, we sought individuals who have demonstrated extraordinary dedication and achieved remarkable standards of excellence in their respective fields. This could encompass many accomplishments, ranging from representing Ireland on the global stage in sports such as handball, canoeing, or boxing to making significant and impactful contributions to their communities or the arts. Each recipient embodies the spirit of excellence and serves as an inspiration for their peers and the broader community.

As we reflect on the achievements of our award recipients, we are reminded of the talent that exists within each member of our vibrant community. Their commitment to excellence is a testament to the values we hold dear at Marino Institute of Education, and we are immensely proud to celebrate their accomplishments and contributions.
