Biography
Elaine Clotworthy has been lecturing in Drama Education and Integrated Arts since joining the Marino Institute of Education Arts Department in 2016. Prior to this, Elaine was a practicing primary school teacher, and worked with young people with Autism Spectrum Disorders in ‘Social Drama’ classes, in conjunction with Aspire and Trinty College Dublin. Elaine’s research areas are reflected in her masters and doctoral studies and include; Drama Education, Integrated Arts, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Generalisability and Inclusive Education. Elaine is the chairperson for the Association for Drama Education in Ireland (ADEI) and is a member of the Arts Education Research Group (AERG) Trinity College Dublin. Elaine is a research fellow of Trinity College Dublin.
