Biography
Niamh has worked in the area of research for almost 20 years. She completed a Master’s in Social Policy from UCD, after which she worked as a research officer for a private social research agency and subsequently for a housing association. Having completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Social Research from UCC, Niamh worked for a time as a freelance researcher, undertaking research contracts for public and community organisations. In 2016 Niamh embarked upon her PhD studies and was awarded a four-year Government of Ireland Postgraduate Scholarship from the Irish Research Council. These years of experience in her field mean that Niamh is experienced both in undertaking and managing research projects and the funding/grant application process.
