Why should I study at MIE?

Internationally-recognised degree
All MIE students graduate with a degree from our associated college, Trinity College Dublin, the University of Dublin, which is currently ranked 75 in the World by the QS World University Ranking 2026.
Small Campus, Big Heart
MIE is a small campus, but is known for the friendly atmosphere and sense of community students experience. Small class sizes mean you'll get to know your fellow students and lecturers on a first-name basis.
Student Support
Each student is assigned a personal tutor, which will ensure that you have a designated academic staff member to turn to with any difficulties or worries you may have during your studies. Our designated Student Counselling Service, Careers Advisor, Chaplaincy team and Disability Support Service are also on hand to support you throughout your time at MIE.
Location
MIE campus is just outside the heart of Dublin city centre and the 73 bus directly links the campus and the centre of the capital. Relax and enjoy plenty of green space, the sports pitches, local shops, bars and restaurants, all while having Dublin city on your doorstep.
Hands on Experience
Practical experience and placement are a key feature of many of the courses offered at MIE, giving you the chance to put what you learn into practice in a range and variety of different educational settings.
