Applicants to the Trinity International Foundation Programme can choose between two distinct pathways:

Pathway A: Business, Economics, and Social Science Stream

Choosing Pathway A of the Trinity International Foundation Programme, gives students the opportunity to study at one of our world leading schools in the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences.

Law

Trinity School of Law is one of the leading law schools in Europe, consistently ranking as one of the Top 100 Law Schools in the world (QS Subject Rankings, 2018). Our undergraduate programmes are all research-based and research-led, challenging students to develop their own critical understanding of law.

Business

Our business programmes focus on innovation, entrepreneurship and management and are taught using experiential learning and industry involvement. Trinity is ranked as the No. 1 University in Europe for producing entrepreneurs for the fourth year in a row. (Pitchbook Universities Report 2018-2019).

Political Science

The Department of Political Science at Trinity College is one of the top Political Science departments in Europe. It is rated number 1 in Ireland, number 15 in Europe, and ranks in the Top 100 in the world for Politics (QS Subject Rankings, 2018).

Sociology

Ranked among the Top 100 Sociology departments in the world (QS Subject Rankings, 2018), our School of Sociology is a leading hub for research on migration, ethnicity and inequalities.

Pathway B: Engineering and Science Stream

Students who choose Pathway B of the Trinity International Foundation Programme will study in a world-renowned research university. Trinity has major research institutes and centres in areas such as neuroscience, globalisation, immunology and molecular medicine.

Engineering, Mathematics and Science

With eight Schools, the Faculty offers world class teaching across a variety of exciting disciplines, including: Biochemistry, Chemistry, Computer Science, Engineering, Genetics, Geography, Immunology, Mathematics, Microbiology, Neuroscience, Physics, Science. The School of Engineering was founded in 1841 and is one of the oldest Engineering Schools in the English speaking world, while Trinity ranks top 100 in the world in both Chemistry and Biological Sciences (QS Subject Rankings, 2018).

Faculty of Health Sciences

The Faculty is research-led, with strategic research areas including cancer, ageing, inclusive society, next generation medical devices, immunology & infection and neuroscience. Our graduates are the top in their field, with many alumni in key positions both nationally and internationally. Students may choose to study one of five programmes within the Faculty of Health Sciences, including Pharmacy which is ranked in the Top 100 in the world (QS Subject Rankings, 2018).
